Hey there!
Thanks for dropping by. I love company, and I love hearing from people, so come, hang out, have a coffee, leave me a note, tell me all about what you’re thinking. I’d like that.
Oh, I’m sorry…you wanted to know about me?
I’m a 30-something Tasmanian with too much headspace, not enough time, and a writing addiction. My first book, Where The Words Are, is looking for a home, and my second, Annie’s House, is slowly being spat out.
I blog because my kids are too young to care about what I’m thinking, and by the time my husband gets home I’ve forgotten how to say it anyway.
Ironic! I blog for the very same reasons.
: )
OMG, that is hilarious! By the time your hubs gets home you’ve forgotten – ME TOO! LOL!
Thankfully he reads my blog now and he reminds me all about it. Which seems a bit crazy, but hey, it’s working!
I can empathise, one husband, two sons, two step sons , football, and cricket, where can a woman go? Oh yeah, to a blog. Welcome to my world!!
LOL…sounds like a man’s world for you : ) Gotta love the Internet. Crazy when Facebook is my only adult company for the day!
Great “about” page, funny too!
thanks! : )
Me as well, but swap the kids for dogs (but I still tell them). And I don’t forget how to say it when my husband comes home, I generally forget what it was in the first place!
LOL! Yeah, and I bet the dogs care more than my kids do as well : ) Thanks for reading.
I’d love to have kids who don’t understand me and a husband who comes home late – there is nobody waiting for me here… so, be nice to them and feel blessed.
Yes, thanks for the reminder. I am extremely grateful for my family every single day. Although sometimes I have to remind myself of the time when I was so lonely too. Bless you.
I love coffee and love hearing about other people’s lives. Always reminds me that no matter how different, really we are all very, very much alike.
I heard your prayers and want you to know I am
Hi, haven’t read anything else yet (so the 2nd question might seem irrelevant)…
Two things: congrats on being FP’d and where in Tassie are you. I’m in Tas too π
Cool! Love meeting other Tassie people randomly on line : ) I’m in Hobart. Grew up in New Norfolk.
And thanks. I’d never heard of being FPd until it happened to me, and WOW, what a reaction!!!

Whereabouts are you? I checked out your pic – not a Tassie one by the looks.
Oh, def a Taswegian. This was taken a few years ago when I took a short trip into Brisbane. It was the one time I actually liked the place. We live south of Hobart, basically where I grew up. We were in Qld for 7 yrs and moved back home in April last year. Thanks for following π
ps, can I email you? or FB you
Thanks for the good laugh. I remember when my kids were very young and I was afraid I had forgotten how to speak in a sentence longer than 3 words. Oh my gosh, that was before computers! π But it sounds like even with the internet available for interaction, finding time is still a problem. I think I would have probably taken my laptop into the bathroom with me, because I would frequently go in and lock the door, just so I could have some think time.
Cool chick site, need more chick blog in my guy life. Blog, blog, blog, then reblog some more!
